ChoirFest Middle East 2027 invites choirs from schools, universities, and communities across the region to come together in a celebration of harmony, creativity, and cultural connection. Whether you’re a seasoned ensemble or a brand-new choir, this is your moment to shine on one of the region’s most inspiring stages.

1.

How to Enter Your Choir

STEP 1: Register your choir via the Registration Page.
The registration fee is AED 55 per person (incl. VAT). Once registered, you will receive an automated email to complete

STEP 2: the second form and payment.
Please check your junk/spam folder. If you haven’t received the email, please use this form to complete Step 2.

Once we’ve received your payment, your registration is confirmed.

Closer to the festival, our team will get in touch to collect your choir’s song and performance details

Categories

2.

There are four competition categories:

  • Junior School Choirs (5-11 years old)

  • Middle School Choirs (11-14 years old)

  • Senior School Choirs (14-18 years old)

  • Adult Choirs (18 years and above)

There are seven winning categories:

  • Choir of the Year

  • Runner-Up

  • Judges' Pick

  • Best Performance in a Non-English Language

  • Best Solo Performance

  • Best Blend and Balance

  • Best Artistic Impact

Competition Rules

3.

  • No maximum number of singers per choir.

  • Free choice of performance pieces.

  • Each choir must perform at least two songs, each in a different language, within the allotted time.

  • School choirs: up to 8 minutes total performance time.

  • Adult choirs: up to 10 minutes total performance time.

  • Open to all choir types — a cappella, jazz, chamber, barbershop, choral society, and more.

Judging Criteria

  • Technical Ability: 75%

  • Musical Expression: 25%

5.

Accompaniment

A piano will be available on stage for accompaniment if required. Choirs may also provide alternative instrumental backing or choose to sing a cappella.

Please inform our team if you require any special sound equipment, have solos, or plan to include instruments on stage.

Note: ChoirFestME will not provide an accompanist for your choir.
